What is a home page or start page?
When you first open your web browser (what you are using to view this website.) it automatically loads a home/start page of your choice.
The page that opens at startup with your browser is what your home page is.
Setting your home page is pretty simple, just scroll down and find your browser below and follow the directions.

Set Your Homepage For Firefox

  1. Near the top right of your browser window you will see a button with three horizontal lines. Click the button to open the main menu.
  2. From here you will see a button with gear that says options below. Click this to open the options window.
  3. Click on the General Tab (its the first one) it has a picture of a light switch above the word General.
  4. Look for the frame titled Startup, from here look where it says, "When Firefox starts:". Make sure the drop down menu is set to "Show my home page".
  5. See where it says "Home Page:" in this text box you can copy the line below:
    http://Home.ElectroIntellect.net
  6. Alternatively you can type it in manually. Otherwise navigate to the page (you can click here) then in the firefox menu click "Use Current Pages". (Make sure it is the only tab open first otherwise it will set multiple pages).
  7. You are done just click "OK" at the bottom of the options window to save your settings.

Set Your Homepage For Google Chrome

  1. Near the top right of your browser window you will see a button with three horizontal lines. Click the button to open the main menu.
  2. From here you will see menu click on Settings to open the settings tab (or click here if your on chrome right now).
  3. Look for "On startup" and click the round button next to the line that says "Open a specific page or set of pages."
  4. Now click on where it says "Set pages" on the same line.
  5. Now a box titled Startup pages should have opened. See where it says "Add a new page" in the text box to its right you can copy the line below:

  6. Alternatively you can type it in manually. Otherwise navigate to the page (you can click here) then in the chrome settings tab under set pages click "Use current pages". (Make sure it is the only tab open first otherwise it will set multiple pages).
  7. You are done just click "OK" at the bottom of the Startup pages box to save your settings.

Set Your Homepage For Opera

  1. At the top left of your browser window you will see a button that says Opera. Click the button to open the main menu.
  2. From here you will see menu hover over Settings and choose preferences.
  3. Click on the General tab in the preference window.
  4. Look to the right of where it says "Startup" and choose "Start with home page".
  5. Where it says "Home page" the text box to its right you can copy the line below:
    http://Home.ElectroIntellect.net
  6. Alternatively you can type it in manually. Otherwise navigate to the page (you can click here) then in the preferences window click "Use Current". (Make sure it is the only tab open first otherwise it may set multiple pages).
  7. You are done just click "OK" at the bottom of the preferences window to save your settings.

Set Your Homepage For Internet Explorer

  1. Go to toolbar at the top of browser, and click on "Tools", then "Internet Options".
  2. Alternatively you can click the start menu and choose control panel. From there click Internet Options."
  3. A window titled "Internet Properties" should have opened, choose the General tab.
  4. See where it says "Home page" in the text box below you can copy the line below:
    http://Home.ElectroIntellect.net
  5. Alternatively you can type it in manually. Otherwise navigate to the page (you can click here) then in the internet properties window click "Use current" (If you are currently using Internet Explorer). (Make sure it is the only tab open first otherwise it will set multiple pages).
